• Large scale structure of the Universe – galaxy filaments and the properties of various astrophysical sources in relation to them.

  • The filament network should be connected, i.e., loose ends and lone filamentary scraps should be rare or even nonexistent. We achieved this [1] by morphological transformations of celestial projections within an image analysis framework.
