The Semi-Automatic Variability Search sky survey was presented at JENAM 2003 conference (25-30.08.2003) in Budapest. Our form of contribution was a poster which was shown at Synergies in Wide Field Observations minisymposium.

Abstract: Technical features of the new project called Semi-Automatic Variability Search operating at the Piwnice Observatory of the Nicolaus Copernicus University and results of last year of observations are presented. The user-friendly software developed for reduction of acquired CCD images and detection of new variable stars (SAVS.PL) is described. More than 12000 stars brighter than 13 mag in V band were monitored in 25 selected fields covering 150 square degrees. 16 of them turned out to be previously unknown variables. Collected data allowed also to determine over 50 times of minima for eclipsing binary stars.
