RESEARCH
From the beginning ACUR has been taken part of archaeological
underwater excavation leading by Departament of Underwater Archaeology
at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology Nicolaus Copernicus University i Toruń.
The archaeological research on the different type of sites (bridges, lake-settlements, wracks) are leading by researchers from
University of Toruń. Members of the Club - participents of excavations, students and alumnuses of archaeological course
are well-trained in diving range on the archaeological underwater research too.
During the research a special equipment for underwater cultural sediments exploration: motopump,
ejectors (water type and air type) and exploration and documentation frame have been used.
Member of expedition made detailed underwater drawing, photographic and film documentation of discovered remains.
From 1986 to 2000 the members of the Club have been taking parts of the following research at underwater sites:

Mołtajny, Arklickie Lake, from 1986 to 1991 research of the lake settlement from early Iron Age;

Lednicki Lednica Lake, in 1986-89, 1991-92, 1994, 1999-2000 research of the early medieval bridges remains,
so-called "poznański" - site 3 A and "gnieznieński" - site 3 B;

- Puck, Puck Bay, from 1990 to 1992 research of early medieval harbour remeins;
- Zalesie, from 1993 to 1994 research of the medieval bridge and motte;
- Plateliai, Lithuania, Plateliai Lake, in 1995-2000 research of the bridge remains dated at the end of XVI century;
- Plön, near Kiel, Germany, Grosser Plönersee in 1995-1997 research of the bridge remains from IX-XI century;
- Trakai, Lithuania, Galve Lake in 1997-1998 research of the three bridges remains from the Great Prince Vytaustas period;
- Kujan, In 1997 - research of the lake-settelment remains from early medieval period and the modern hydrotechnical instalations.
- Gołubie, Gołubie Lake in 1999 search for the medieval counon;
- Drohiczyn, Bug River in 2000 search for the medieval river passage.
